Air India Flight 504, which was traveling from Kochi to Delhi, narrowly avoided a serious incident when it skidded off the runway while attempting to take off. This alarming event was initially shared on social media by passenger Hibi Eden, a Member of Parliament, shortly after boarding commenced at 10:15 PM on Sunday. Eden, along with his family and fellow MPs Anto Antony and JB Mather, were on the flight.
As the aircraft came to a sudden stop, passengers were thrown into a state of panic, with some now facing the possibility of missing their connecting flights to destinations in the Gulf region. Fortunately, authorities have confirmed that all passengers are safe, attributing the incident to a potential engine failure. The aircraft has since been moved from the runway for a thorough inspection.
